Not much is new at Customize.

Just ranting and making a member announcement.

Ever since the announcement of the Screenshot '06 contest, things have seemed to settle down. There has been no/not as much fighting, slander or animosity to anyone. Which is a good thing. I am happy to see that customize.org is finally settling down and the users are doing what we all love that they do. Skin programs that we use on a daily basis to make things much sexier for the eyes. Please keep up all the awesome skinning people.

Also, I am pleased to announce that cust0 has a new member.


So things are starting to look up for cust0. Hopefully we can get alot more members and submissions to cust0.

Sexy sexy sexy! I love it. Makes a change from the plain uber minimal wallpapers, and is beautifully contrasted by a plain silver VS. The widesceen resolution makes it more beautiful.

3rd place:

The colors are nice, the screen could be polished a bit more but its still quite good. Sea matches blue font, rock matches silver gradients and the shadows match the black titlebars. It fits.

7th place:

neodude made a great & calm shot. Perhaps too generic, but a lovely one.

8th place:
Blip by sexyboy ** _[link]
The blue is lush, so vibrant and alive!. Well contrasted by the monochrome picture. Has alot of potential, unfortunately the heavily pixelated numbers damage it a bit. The taskbar is somewhat cluttered, but somehow he gets away with it. He should have improved the winamp tho.

9th place:
Edges are round by dozza _[link]
This could be highed rank if mynimal was the one who submit this because mynimal made the skin, and ported perfectly the headvoid's style.

Those were 's words, cleaned up a tad bit.

Personally, all of the submitters did a crazy job and all came out nice. This just goes to show you what people can really do, and then some. Great job to everyone that partaked in this little contest. We all look forward to the next wave of screenshots to hit the submission button.

Well as you propably already know! this community hasnt been active for a loong time. Im very sad about that, very. And i dont know what to do when no other admin really endure to help me out! It would be for me really allot easier. I havnt been that active either! Thus this is due to huge school projects and company researches that im able to be bid for. I dont know about packs or stuff anymore. I really hope that we'd get together and would negotiate it further! Thank you! I want all your name assembled so that im aware of whose interested! Thank you!

Some one want to become a admin? If so, please reply in the journal, we'll later contact you. Since nothing is going on at the moment we need a person who has the time to type journals, most preferably someone who is a skinner, but we can also consider ppl who's not. He's gonna be active. And has the time to welcome new members. Basically that it. I think you know what to do.
